Christine M.Montebello, 84, of Clinton passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in her home.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2010, at Lemke Funeral Homes, North Chapel, 2304 North 2nd Street. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Christine was born September21, 1925, in Berlin, Germany the daughter of Josef and Alice (Drischel) Schuster.

Christine married John Montebello on May26, 1953, in Munchen, Germany. He preceded her in death.

Christine was a homemaker.

Christine was of the Catholic faith, she was a member of the Tris Club, she enjoyed needle work and crocheting, and she was computer savvy.

Survivors include, 3 sisters, Rose Jensen, of Clinton, Gisele (Fred) Murdough, of Anchorage, Alaska, Helga (Rudi)Rohles, of Trier, Germany, many nieces and nephews, and 1 sister-in –law, Carmela Bajona, of Melborne, Australia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 1 brother-in-law, Frank Jensen.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Clinton Humane Society or The Alverno.
