Anna Bernice Lundeen Ivey, 88, of Clinton, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at the Alverno in Clinton. Funeral services will be 10AM, Friday, July 9, 2010, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Clinton. Visitation will be 5 - 8PM, Thursday, July 8, 2010, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory and from 9Am until the service hour Friday at the church. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Clinton. Pallbearers will be Craig, Mark and Tim Hilgendorf, Chris Ivey and Chris and Michael Powers. Cross bearers will be Jessica Powers DeBlois and Dawn Alm.

Anna Bernice Lundeen was born October 4, 1921, in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Charles and Clara (Olson) Lundeen. Anna married Herbert L. Ivey on December 18, 1943, in Clinton, Iowa; he died October 5, 1999. She was a Clinton High School graduate.

She was a homemaker and was also employed at the One-In- Hand Tie Factory.

Bernice was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Clinton and the church Altar Guild. She loved her family, gardening and her church.

She is survived by one son: Stephen (Carol) Ivey of Camanche, eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Karen (Jim) Powers, two sisters and two brothers.

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
