Helen J. Bigwood, 80, of Clinton, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Mercy Living Center – North, Clinton.

A Memorial Visitation will be Friday, July 9, 2010, 2010 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. A prayer will begin the visitation at 4:00pm.

Helen Jeanne Andrew was born on July 26, 1929 in Eden, Wisconsin, the daughter of Gilbert and Mary (Whealon) Andrew. She married Robert F. Bigwood on June 30, 1947 in Clinton; he later died September 6, 2002.

Helen was a 1947 graduate of St. Mary’s High School.

Helen was employed at Nielsen’s as a typist and retired as a purchasing agent at PFC.

Helen is survived by two sons: Bob (Sue) Bigwood of Clinton, and Michael (Vera) Bigwood of Amanda, Ohio; one daughter: Barb Bigwood of Clinton; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and her special companion Maggie.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, one son: Tom, two grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and one brother.

Memorials be made to the family. The family also extends their appreciation to Mercy Hospice and Mercy Living Center, North for their care and compassion.
