Wayne Allman

Wayne Allman, 64, of Clinton, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 after injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident.

Memorial Services will be 11:00am, Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Visitation will be from 10:00am to the service time at the funeral home.

Robert Wayne Allman was born on August 5, 1945 in Clarence, Iowa, the son of Furman and Edna (Benton) Allman. He married Barbara Wilson on November 27, 1982 in Clinton.

Wayne was employed as a machinist at Stopher’s in DeWitt, at Jim Walter Windows in Camanche, as a mechanic at National By-Products and owned and operated his own lawn care business. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Wayne was survived by his wife: Barb of Clinton; his mother: Edna Allman of Clarence, Iowa; two sisters: Eva (Charles) Myers of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Carolyn (Lee) Cooper of Minnetonka, Minnesota; brother: Edward (Doris) Allman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; step-son: Jeffrey Schutte of Clinton, four step-daughters: Susan (Fran) Chindemi of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, Melody (Tod) McKee of Mascoutha, Illinois, Marcellea (Bob) Reed of Clinton, and Faith Schutte of Camanche, two sister-in-laws: Betty Wilson of Clinton and Mary Wilson of Clinton; and several nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister.
