Margaret Martin

Margaret F. “Peg” Martin, 71, of Clinton, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton after a courageous battle with cancer.

Memorial Services will be 10:30am, Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Clinton Chapel-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Following the visitation the body will be cremated.

Peg was born on December 5, 1938 in Champion Heights, Ohio, the daughter of Roy E. and Lois M. (Orin) Rock. She married David L. Martin on October 29, 1983 in Clinton.

She was employed at Carlon before joining her husband at Auto Glass & Parts Co., in Clinton retiring in 1995.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband: Dave of Clinton and children: Robert (Heidi) Ingersol of Medina, Ohio, Michael Gregory Ingersol of Ravenna, Ohio, Peggy Sue (Jeff) Carter of Garrettsville, Ohio, Kimberly Renee Ilg of Kent, Ohio, Dianna Lynn Potts of Akron, Ohio, James (Ann) Ferrell of Camanche, Iowa; a step-son: Alan Martin of Fulton, Illinois; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; her sister: Mary Ellen Jackson of Stow, Ohio, her nephew: Eddie Jackson of Stow, Ohio; and her sister-in-law: Joyce Martin of Clinton.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Genesis Hospice in Clinton or Chancy Lutheran Church.
