Evansville, WI, formerly of Clinton, IA - Richard C. Martin age 64 of Evansville, WI, formerly of Clinton, died Friday June 18, 2010 at William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, WI. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:30 am at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Springdale Cemetery.

Richard was born on June 29, 1945 in Clinton, the son of Earl and Mildred (Holt) Martin. He was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1966-1968. Richard was a driver for Great River Bend Transit and MTA in Clinton. He owned and operated the Book Store and Deli in Clinton. He enjoyed fishing and working on motorcycles.

Richard is survived by his three daughters, Andrea Martin of Madison, WI, Linda (Chris) Lee of Chesapeake, VA, and Suzi McGraw of Fort Walton Beach, FL; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Brianna, Dallas, Lauren, Yasmin, Matthew, and Katie; two sisters, Mildred “Cookie” (Al) Dorsey and Alice (Bob) Fulton both of Clinton; and a brother, Jerry (Sandy) Martin of Camanche.
