Ann Paschen

Ann Paschen, 84, of Camanche died Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be private on Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Catholic Church of the Visitation in Camanche. Burial will be in Shafton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Ann Kane was born on May 20, 1926 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Patrick and Mary Ann (Nee) Kane. She was a graduate of Mundelein High School. She married John J. Paschen on July 26, 1947 in Chicago; he died on September 10, 2008.
She was a Real Estate agent in Illinois and Iowa for many years.

Ann dedicated her whole life to her family. She loved her grandchildren dearly. She had many hobbies, including crocheting and playing cards. She organized Ann?s Quilting Club in Camanche which she was very proud of.

She was a member of the Church of the Visitation and the Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by 4 daughters: Nancy Delaney of Camanche, Janice (Richard) Flood of Crystal Lake, IL, Pamela (Bill) VanOverloop of Camanche, Michele (Jim) Case of Camanche; 2 sons: Dr. John (Cynthia) Paschen of Ames, IA, and Christopher (Lynn) Paschen of San Francisco, CA; 9 grandchildren: Megan, Maura, and Katie Flood, Morgan Delaney, Andrew VanOverloop, Sarah Case, Madeline, Emma, and Jack Paschen; one sister, Mary Korman of Chicago, and one brother, Patrick Kane of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
