3/3/1942 - 5/12/2010Clinton - Kristin Jane DeMarr age 68 of Clinton died Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at her home. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 14th at the Pape Funeral Home. Cremation rites will follow.
Kristin was born on March 3, 1942 in Clinton, the daughter of Kenneth and Florence (Scofield) Fryslie. She attended Clinton Schools. Kristin married Roland Bates in 1957 in Clinton. She later married Ted DeMarr. She was a housewife and homemaker and had been employed with Rose’s Wood Products. Kristin was a member of the former Grace Episcopal Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and collecting Native American articles.
Kristin is survived by three sons, Thomas Bates, Jim Bates and Tony (Brenda) DeMarr all of Clinton, a daughter, Julie (Jimmy) Hill of Clinton, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a sister, Lizabeth Lear of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, a great grandson, Keefer, a brother, Andrew and a special friend John. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com
