Lisbeth Ann Lear, 73, of Clinton, died Friday, May 14, 2010, at Trinity Terrace Park Hospice, Bettendorf. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm. on Sunday, May 16, at Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 2610 Manufacturing Drive. There will be a visitation one hour before the service. The Pastor Rodney Rossow will be officiating. Burial will take place in Oakland Cemetery.

Lisbeth was born on December 21, 1936, in Clinton, the daughter of Kenneth and Florence Scofield Fryslie. She graduated from Lyons High School and then attended the University of Iowa. Lisbeth married Robert Lear in 1956.

She worked for E. J. & E Railway for 37 years retiring in 1997. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Lisbeth is survived by her daughter, Carmen (Lisa) Lear, Rock Island, IL; her son David (Donna) Lear, Gary, IN; her two grandchildren, David and Henry Lear, one great grandson and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother. Memorials can be made to the Humane Society or American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. A special Thank You to St. Anthony’s Nursing Home and Trinity Pathway Hospice for the care given to Lisbeth.
