Clinton, Iowa - Lloyd H. Clouse age 78 of Clinton, died Monday April 12, 2010 at Mercy North Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:00 am at Prince of Peace Parish. Visitation will be held Friday 4 – 7 pm at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers will be his nephews.

Lloyd was born on June 8, 1931 in Hamburg, NJ, the son of William and Ida (Dixon) Clouse. He served in the US Air Force over 12 years and later with the Iowa National Guard for 14 years, where he retired in 1988. He married Kathleen Smith on May 4, 1974 in Clinton. Lloyd had worked at Clinton Corn Processing, a draftsman at Elkay in Lanark, IL, and later owned and operated Hawkeye Liquors in Dewitt. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and Clinton Moose Lodge #363.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Kathleen “Kay” of Clinton; three daughters, Audrey (Mike) Hoffman, Marla (Jack) Myers, and Shelly (Duane) Jenkins; a step son, Thomas (Deborah) Smith of Clinton: 15 grandchildren and two great grandsons; three brothers, Herman (Dianna) Clouse of Sussex, NJ, Linn (Marge) Clouse of Branchville, NJ, and Allen Clouse of Raleigh, NC; and a sister, Millie Myer of Bainbridge, NY.
