Brent C. Stankee

Wheatland. Brent C. Stankee, 55, of Wheatland, Iowa died Tuesday, October 11, 2005. Brent was born to Marilyn Clark Stankee and Glen and Orda Stankee in Davenport, Iowa on September 26, 1950. He was a graduate of Drake University with a degree in political science. He married Kathy(Kate) Hass on December 27, 1970. He was proud to have served as a police officer in Urbandale for 6 years. He worked with his family for many years at P.W. Stankee company in Wheatland. The past 10 years Brent worked in Insurance Sales. He was a former Lions club member and past president. Brent was a former school board member and coached his son's baseball teams for many years. His greatest joy in life was his family and friends,hunting and fishing.

Brent was survived by his wife-Kathy, his daughter Lindsay(Matthew)Forsberg of Elmhurst Ill., his son Christian Stankee of Los Angeles Calif., his mother Marilyn Stankee of Fulton,Ill., his sister Jill Camacho of Madison Wisc., his brother Glen A.(Carol) Stankee of Boca Raton Fl., his sister Dr. Gail Stankee of Columbiaville Mich, several nieces and nephews and a granddog.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be held at 3:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, October 14 at Chapman Funeral Home-Wheatland.Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at Pine Hill Cemetery in Wheatland.
