NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — Eugene Robert Goettsch, age 71, passed away on April 7, 2010, after a heroic 5-year battle against cancer.

Visitation will be at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels from 10 a.m. until noon on Tuesday, April 13, 2010. The procession will depart the funeral home at noon Tuesday for a Graveside Service for family and close friends to be conducted at 1 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
