Morrison, Ill. — Karen Sue (Anglese) Berridge, 65, of Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, March 24, at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at the United Methodist Church in Albany, IL, with fellowship to follow.

Karen was born March 20, 1945, in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Burns) Anglese. She graduated from Fulton High School in 1963, attended Western Illinois University and was a flight attendant for United Airlines. She married Don Berridge in Albany, IL. The lived in Geneva, IL, until they moved to Morrison, IL, in 1992. Karen enjoyed volunteering her time at the Morrison Conservation Office, riding horses, sewing, painting, reading and spending time with her family and many friends.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Marny R. (Dan) Christin, Chicago, IL; one son, Brent E. Berridge, Houston, TX; three brothers, Wayne (Pat) Anglese, Jim (Marlies) Anglese of Albany, Gary (Linda) Anglese of Clinton, IA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
