CLINTON — CLINTON — Lavene Loree Woodard, 46, of Clinton, passed away on Monday, March 29th, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center North after a lengthy illness.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 1st, 2010, at Friends Cemetery in Richland, Iowa. Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel, is handling arrangements.

She was born September 19, 1963, in Clinton, to Walter and Connie (Ulin) Woodward. Lavene graduated from Clinton High School in 1982. She was a truck driver.

Survivors include her mother, Connie Woodward of Clinton; sister, Genevieve, Fort Collins, Colorado; niece, Anastasia, Fort Collins, Colorado; many aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Bev, Angie and “brother” Jim and her faithful companions, Curly and Precious.

She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Clinton Humane Society in her memory.
