CLINTON — Allen Ross Guertin, 67, of Clinton, passed away Friday October 2, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center, North. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 2610 Manufacturing Drive. Pastor Ryan Carpenter will be officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shawn Corby, Jerry Alsup, Ivan Guertin, Matt Keith, Marty Prier and Bill Wyatt. Allen was born July 5, 1942, in Escanaba, Michigan, the son of Oliver and Elva (Welch) Guertin. Allen worked in factories in California and Michigan. He was a friend to everyone, with a helpful hand. He enjoyed to dance, hunting, fishing and tractor pulls. Survivors include, 2 sisters, Lillian (Stephen) Keith of Orange, Texas, Jeanne (Dan) Bohannon of Virginia Beach, Virginia; 2 brothers, Oliver of Clinton and Ivan of DeWitt.
