CLINTON — Mary Ann E. Wilson, age 75, of Clinton, died Tuesday Sept. 22, 2009 at Mercy North Medical Center.Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Matthew and Anton Steen, Kile and Micaela Krol, Mark, Richard, and Jeff Hake, Lisa Hake-Bartels, Kaen Matei, Kristine Donahue and Kevin and Karla Kuchel. Mary Ann was born on Feb. 27, 1934 in Clinton, the daughter of Henry and Marie (Jensen) Hake. She graduated from Lyons High School in 1953. She worked at Collis Company for over 30 years, where she retired. After retirement she drove for RC Smith Transportation for many years. Mary is a member of Zion Lutheran Church and enjoyed playing cards, was an avid reader, and spending time with her family. Mary Ann is survived by her two daughters, Lynn (Charles) Steen of Clinton and Laurie (James) Krol of Moline, IL; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda (Jay) Kuchel of Arlington Heights, IL; and a brother, Robert (Janice) Hake of Clinton.
