CAMANCHE — Sherrill Lea Hope, 58, of Camanche, IA died Friday, September 18, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Clinton Chapel. Cremation will follow the services. Private burial of the cremains will take place at a later date in Springdale Cemetery. Sherrill Lea Heath was born on May 31, 1951 in Clinton, the daughter of Vernon and Audrey (Hute) Heath. She was a graduate of Clinton High School. She married Payton Joseph Hope on November 6, 1998 in Clinton. She had been previously employed with Pathways Living Center in Clinton for 14 years. She loved to play bingo, crochet, cross stitch, word search puzzles, spend time with her family and grandchildren, and especially her beloved dogs Boo, Kung, and Rizo. She is survived by her husband Payton J. Hope of Camanche; one son, Daniel (Amanda Broers) Morris of Morrison, IL; one daughter, Tina (Terry) Cahoon of Clinton; 7 grandchildren, Skylar, Audrey, Danielle, and Madysen Morris, Brianna and Bailey Broers, and Jessica Cahoon; 2 brothers, Bob Heath of DeWitt, IA and Jim (Lorraine) Heath of Seattle, WA; 3 sisters, Gloria (Gary) Ballard of Clinton, Carla Petersen of Clinton, Linda (Ron) Haggen of DeWitt, IA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Don and Bill Heath; and 2 sisters, Delores Usher and Carol Goddard. Memorials may be made to the family.
