NEVADA — Theresa Marie Burke-Holder, 49, of Nevada, Iowa, and formerly of Camanche passed away Wednesday September 9, 2009, at her home. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at the South Chapel of Lemke Funeral Homes. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the South Chapel of the Lemke Funeral Homes, 2610 Manufacturing Dr. Memorials will be established. Theresa was born February 20, 1960, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Gerald and Elvera (Roseland) Burke. Theresa graduated from Camanche High School in 1978. Theresa married Justin Holder August 17, 2007, in Nevada, Iowa. He survives her. Theresa was a homemaker. She loved to cook, tend to garden and she loved animals. Survivors include her husband, Justin, of Nevada, Iowa; her daughter and son-in-law, Shalena (Zach) Hoffman of Gering, Nebraska; her mother, Elvera, of Clinton; 1 sister, Mary Thomas of Clinton, Illinois; 2 brothers, Patrick Burke of Clinton, Iowa, Michael Burke of Washington, D.C; 2 nephews and 2 nieces.
