Ronald A. DetermanMarch 20, 1942 - July 3, 2009HENDERSON, Nev. — Ron was born in Clinton, Iowa to parents Leander Determan and Gladys Determan. On March 3, 1962, he married Janice K. Totten in Clinton, Iowa. A devoted electrician, employed by Clinton Corn for over ten years. He is survived by his spouse, Janice Determan; his two children, Janette Maul (husband, Walter) and Steve Determan (wife, Tina); five grandchildren, Steven Maul (wife, Loretta), David Maul, Daniel Maul, Taran Determan and Andrew Determan; brother, Al Determan (wife, Dorothy); nieces, Cheryl and Brenda Determan; great-nephew, Benjamin; and his dog, Mac. Both Ron and Jan were founding members of the First Henderson United Methodist Church (FHUMC). A memorial fund has been setup in Ron's name to help fund the FHUMC's new building.
