CHANA, Ill. — Aaron W. McGrath, 19, of Chana and recently of Morrison, died Sunday June 28, 2009, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Born January 13, 1990, in Rochelle the son of Jeff Pinkston and Lorrie McGrath. Aaron had lived in Morrison the past 2 months and worked at Nestle-Purina in Clinton, Iowa. He was a 2008 graduate of Oregon High School and a member of Chana United Methodist Church. Aaron loved music and playing guitar and working with cars. Survived by his mother, Lorrie (Richard) Francis of Chana; father, Jeff (Kelly) Pinkston of Dixon; girlfriend, Jenna Hook of Morrison; brothers, Joshua McGrath of Phoenix, AZ, and Eric Francis of Chana; sister, Chelsea McGrath of Chana; paternal grandmother, Imogene (Donald) Pinkston-Mattson of Rochelle; maternal grandparents, Chuck (Kay) McGrath of Rochelle, Rose (Rich) Burke of Orange Park, FL, and Edna Francis of Omaha, NB; 3 aunts, 2 uncles and 9 cousins. Predeceased by paternal grandfather, William H. Pinkston. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 2, in Chana United Methodist Church with Rev. Alan Meyers, former pastor, officiating. Burial is in Daysville Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, Oregon.
