May 19, 1918 - May 26, 2009 CLINTON — Lois May Meyers, of Clinton, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Mercy North Medical Center. Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Lois was born on May 19, 1918, in Gordonsville, MN, the daughter of Gay and Grace (Resor) Seuser. She married Roman Meyers in 1942 in Albert Lea, MN; he died in 2006. They moved to Clinton in 1953. She was an avid reader and enjoyed writing short stories. Lois is survived by her three children, Linda (John) Donelson of Iowa City, Mary Meyers and Paul (Sondra) Meyers both of Clinton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a sister, Lorna Bothof; and a brother, Duane Seuser.
