CLINTON — Larry Dean Lilly, 52, of Clinton, IA, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2009, at his home. Visitation will be Thursday, May 28th, from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Lemke North Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, May 29th, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Elvira Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Bill Michaelsen officiating. Burial will be in the Elvira Cemetery.Larry Lilly was born on August 23, 1956, in Clinton, IA, to Robert and Marlene (Roseland) Lilly. He married Susan Ney and they later divorced. Then he married Betty Hopkins and they later divorced. Larry worked for DuPont, Collis, ADM, Time Lock Video and Central Steele Tube Company. Mr. Lilly graduated from DeWitt High School in 1975. He was very artistic, enjoyed painting landscapes, people, photography, fishing, boating and loved his family. He was a member of Elvira Zion Lutheran Church.Surviving are his parents, Robert and Marlene Lilly of Clinton; 3 daughters, Christina, Sarah and Linsey; 2 sons, Brian and Joshua; and 1 sister, Laurie Lilly, all of Clinton; 2 brothers, Robert (Jennifer) Lilly of Low Moor, IA, and Ronald Lilly of Batavia, IL; 5 grandchildren; Anthony, Nathanial, Jeremiah, Abagail and Jonans; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Pat Burke, Jim Roseland, Leon Roseland, Keith Gustafson, Douglas Schroeder, Steve Nance and Zach Hahn. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Roseland and Michael Roseland. Memorials can be made to the family.Death date: May 24, 2009
