The Clinton Herald Tuesday July 17, 1979 p. 8 Carl C. Lohberg, 65, of 821 First St., Camanche, died today in Mercy Hospital. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Binder officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Lohberg was born May 23, 1914, in Clinton, to Louis and Alma Capion Lohberg. He married Juanita Inman Feb. 8, 1941, in Clinton. He owned Lohberg Appliances in Clinton but had retired recently. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Gary (Karen) Sievers, Clinton; a son, Steven, Clinton; six grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Karl (Lois) Muntz, Goshen, Ind. He was preceded in death by one brother.
