The Clinton Herald Monday January 4, 1965 p. 8 Mrs. Louis M. Lohberg, 74, 320 5th Ave. S., died suddenly in Jane Lamb hospital at 10 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Snell-Smith funeral home, where friends may call after noon Tuesday. The Rev. Eilert C. Nielsen, pastor of St. Stephen's Lutheran church, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. Alma Capion Lohberg was born July 4, 1890 in Clinton, the daughter of Carl and Henrietta Capion. Reared and educated in the Clinton public schools, she was married to Louis M. Lohberg, April 14, 1913 in Clinton. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1963. She was baptized, confirmed and a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran church. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Karl (Lois) Muntz of Goshen, Ind.; two sons, Carl C. of Clinton and Fred of Camanche; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and two sisters.
