The Clinton Herald Monday October 18, 1897 p. 7 Word was received from Denver, Colorado, Sunday evening to the effect that Frank Lohberg died there Sunday afternoon. His wife and two children were with him. Mr. Lohberg was well known in Lyons, having conducted a wholesale and retail lumber yard a number of years. Recently he sold out and went to Denver for his health. His remains will be brought here for burial, as his mother lives in Lyons. Further particulars tomorrow.

The Clinton Herald Thursday October 21, 1897 p. 7 The body of the late Frank Lohberg was brought here early this morning, and taken at once to his late residence. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from there, under the auspices of the Masons, he having expressed a wish to be buried by that organization.
