MAQUOKETA — Barbara Jean Morris, age 62, of Maquoketa, and formerly of DeWitt, Iowa, died on Monday, March 30, 2009, at Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa. A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2009, at the Carson and Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Maquoketa where a farewell journey prayer service and time of sharing will be held at 6:30 p.m. An online guestbook may be signed and condolences may be left for the family at www.carsonandson.com. Cremation has taken place. Barbara is survived by sons, Greg (Bev Koontz) Haring of Maquoketa, IA, and Joe (Rhonda) Ryan of Maquoketa, IA; a brother, Richard (Linda) Dierks of Winnebago, IL; and a sister, Ruth (Art) Mayland of Welton, IA.
