FULTON, Ill. — Genevieve R. Huizenga, 82, of Fulton, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at the Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton, IA. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2009, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. The Rev. Wendell Davelaar, pastor of First Christian Reformed Church in Fulton, IL, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2009, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and First Christian Reformed Church, Fulton, IL. She was born July 21, 1926, in Erie, IL, to William and Winnie (Geerts) Foster. She was educated in the Mineral Springs School of rural Whiteside County. She married Marvin J. Huizenga on October 7, 1947, in Morrison, IL; he survives. She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church, Fulton, IL. Genevieve enjoyed reading, sewing and working jigsaw puzzles. Survivors include her husband, Marv; one daughter, Ruth (Robert) Fatchett of DeWitt, IA; one son, Kenneth (LaVonne) Huizenga of Morrison, IL; seven grandchildren, Adam (Megan) Huizenga, Rebecca Huizenga, Matt Huizenga, Britni Huizenga and fiancé Bret Hartman; Rachel (Justin) Grager, Rhonda (Kyle) Jensen, Ryan Fatchett; three great-grandchildren, Anna and Lydia Huizenga and Allison Grager; one sister, Wilma Foster of Fulton, IL; and one brother, Roland (Elsie) Foster of Fulton, IL.
