Goodsman, Harriet Rose View/Sign Guest Book

CLINTON — Harriet Rose Goodsman, age 85, of Clinton, died Thursday April 16, 2009 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Morrison. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday April 20, 2009 at Prince of Peace Parish. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be at Springdale Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Joseph, James, Kyle and Kevin Goodsman, Adam and Kelly Smith. Harriet was born on Oct. 28, 1923, in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Oscar and Josephine (Willihganz) Krebs. She married Robert Goodsman on March 2, 1947 in Clinton, he preceded her in death in June 2006. She was employed at the Clinton Brewing Company, the Clinton Garment Company as a seamstress, and The Odeon as a cook. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing cards, Yahtzee, and visiting with friends and family. Harriet is survived by her two sons, Jeff Goodsman and Kenneth (Patti) Goodsman both of Clinton; 6 grandchildren, Joseph Goodsman of Clinton, James (Mary Kay) Goodsman of Fulton, Kelly (Adam) Smith of Clinton, Kyle Goodsman of Dubuque, Kevin Goodsman of Clinton, and Toni Gallo of Omaha, 2 great granddaughters, Ruebecca and Kaelyn; and a sister, Elaine Dawson; two sister-in-laws, Bernice Arvidson and Elaine Goodsman both of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.Death date: April 16, 2009
