Alva Burnett Sr. 05/18/2000 CLINTON, Iowa -- Alva Burnett Sr., of 801 28th Ave. N., died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Burnett was employed more than 25 years at DuPont and had worked at Lock Shop, Lyons, and Climax Engines. He was born March 10, 1910, in Frankport. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Burnett, Clinton; sons, Warren and Alva Jr., both of Clinton, and Eugene, Phoenix; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
