Retha Earl 05/06/2002 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Retha I. Earl, Belvidere, Ill., formerly of Clinton, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at The Church of the Open Door, Clinton. Burial will be Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today and 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church. The Clinton Chapel of the Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Homes and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Earl died Saturday, May 4, 2002, at Rosewood Care Center, Rockford. She was a line worker at General Electric, Morrison, Ill., before retiring after 10 years. Retha Irene Lamb was born Oct. 2, 1913, in Columbus Junction. She married Jack Earl Sr. in 1966 in Clinton. He died in 1999. Memorials may be made to The Church of the Open Door, Clinton. Survivors include daughters, Janice Ruiz, Belvidere, and Alice Cromer, Fredrickburg, Va.; a son, John Estebrook, Camp Verde, Ariz.; a stepdaughter, Gay Maddack, Merrillville, Ind.; a stepson, Jack Earl Jr., Clinton; 17 grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Erma Plowman, Clinton.
