Florence Bock 04/27/2001 MAQUOKETA, Iowa -- Florence L. Bock, Maquoketa, formerly of Elwood, died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at Maquoketa Care Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Elwood United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, rural Maquoketa. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at Carson & Son Funeral and Cremation Services, Maquoketa. Florence Bloore was born Dec. 13, 1908, in Sharon Township, Clinton County. She married Harry Bock in 1927 in Clinton. They farmed in the Elwood area for many years. He died in 1992. Memorials may be made to the Florence Lucina Bock Memorial Fund. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Petersen, Wyoming; sons, William, St. Joseph, Mich., and Robert, Clinton; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
