Franklin Cox Jr. 04/18/2001 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Franklin L. "Frank" Cox Jr., Clinton, will be 4 p.m. Friday at the Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Visitation is 2 p.m. until the time of services Friday at the funeral home. The body will be cremated following the services and burial will be at a later date in Oakdale Cemetery, Clinton. Mr. Cox died Sunday, April 15, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center-Clinton, North. He was employed at Richard A. Thompson Trucking and Excavating. He also had been a carpet installer for 13 years with Verdon Carpets. He was born July 8, 1971, in Savanna, Ill. He married Laura Anderson in 1991 in Clinton. A memorial fund has been established. Survivors include his wife, Laura, Clinton; a daughter, Sarah Cox, Clinton; sons, Dalton and Christopher, both of Clinton; his mother, Balinda Cox, Clinton; his father, Franklin Cox Sr., Clinton; sisters, Crystal Angulo and Treasure Espinoza, both of Clinton; a brother, Rodney, Clinton; and three half brothers.
