Carsten Carstensen 04/24/2002 CLINTON, Iowa -- Memorial services for Carsten Carstensen, of 718 17th Ave. N., will be noon Thursday at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. No visitation will be held. The body was cremated. Mr. Carstensen died April 18, 2002, at his home. Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. He worked 34 years at Clinton Corn Processing and ADM. He retired in 1988. He was born June 9, 1926, in Bredstedt, Germany. He married Gertrude Dinstel in 1954 in Clinton. She died in 2001. During World War II, he served in the German Army. He was a prisoner-of-war from 1944 to 1945. Memorials may be made to Clinton Humane Society. Survivors include sons, Juergen, Milwaukee, and Raymond, Cudahy, Wis.; sister, Elke Reyner, Orange County, Calif.; and brother, Wilhelm, of Germany.
