Gertrude Carstensen 04/03/2001 CLINTON, Iowa -- Memorial services for Gertrude H. Carstensen, of 718 17th Ave. N., will be 3:15 p.m. Wednesday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. No visitation will be held. The body was cremated. Inurnment will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Carstensen died Sunday, April 1, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center-Clinton, North Campus. She was a homemaker. Gertrude Dinstel was born July 15, 1927, in Foehr, Germany. She married Carsten Carstensen in 1954 in Clinton. Memorials may be made to Clinton Humane Society. Survivors include her husband, Carsten; sons, Juergen, Milwaukee, and Raymond, Racine, Wis.; sisters, Jutta Breckling, New York City, Uvsula Scheer and Inge Johannsen, both of Germany, Helga Cornilsen, Eugene, Ore., and Elke Ehlers, Camanche; and a brother, George Dinstel, Alberta, Canada.
