Harriett Berger 04/02/2001 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Harriett A. Berger, of 722 Argyle Court, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Clinton. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory, with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m. Mrs. Berger died Friday, March 30, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center-Clinton, North Campus. She worked many years at the Unicorn, Clinton, and Hope's Fashion Apartment, Clinton. Harriett Hocking was born Feb. 9, 1919, in Auburn. She married Orval Berger in 1938 in Carroll. Memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Parish. Survivors include her husband, Orval; a daughter, Ann Moore, Madison, Ind.; sons, David D., Chesapeake Beach, Md., and Steve J., Minneapolis; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis Scheckinger, Carroll; and a brother, Russell Hocking, Sac City.
