Nell Daley 04/02/2000 CLINTON, Iowa -- Nell M. Daley, of 940 11th Ave. South, died Saturday, April 1, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center-North Campus, Clinton, after an extended illness. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday at Schmitz Funeral Home, with a vigil at 5:30 p.m. Memorial services will be later. Nell Swanson was born Aug. 29, 1914, in Clinton. She married George Daley in 1930 in Morrison, Ill. He died in 1969. She retired in 1980 after 11 years as laboratory technician in the X-ray laboratory at the former Jane Lamb Hospital. Memorials may be made the family. Survivors include daughters, Beverly "Bev" Walters, Morrison and Birmingham, Ala., and Darlene Lehmkuhl, Clinton; a son, Gary D., Clinton; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
