Robert Crosthwaite 03/11/2000 LOST NATION, Iowa -- Services for Robert Crosthwaite, Lost Nation, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lost Nation. Burial will be in Lost Nation Cemetery. Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Hayden Funeral Home, Lost Nation. Mr. Crosthwaite died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at Jackson County Public Hospital, Maquoketa, after an extended illness. He was born March 20, 1911, near Grand Mound. He married Bertha Burzlaff in 1935 in Grand Mound. They farmed near DeWitt, Grand Mound and Lost Nation. She died in 1988. Survivors include daughters, Florence Deerberg, Lowden, Alice Mohl, Maquoketa, and Linda Earles, Port Orchard, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
