Earl Anspach 03/05/2001 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Earl M. Anspach, of 637 2nd Ave. S., will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Clinton. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery, with military services by Clinton AMVETS. Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Mr. Anspach died Saturday, March 3, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center-Clinton, North Campus. He worked more than 34 years at DuPont. He was a supervisor in the casting area and retired in 1982 He was born July 9, 1924, in Clinton. He married Rosemary Hudson in 1945 in Clinton. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He served in the Navy as a water tender second class. He received the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Asiatic-Pacific Area Camp Medal and American Area Camp Medal. Memorials may be made to the church or American Cancer Society. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary; a daughter, Janice Smith, Clinton; sons, John E., Clinton, and Don P., Storm Lake; eight grandchildren; a step-grandchild; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pauline Proud, Clinton.
