Elsie Bachelder 03/12/2002 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Elsie V. Bachelder, Clinton, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Homes and Crematory. Visitation is 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Mrs. Bachelder died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport, She was a travel counselor for AAA Motor Club of Iowa for 22 years and was a secretary for Girl Scouts of America. Elsie Dalton was born Jan. 24, 1909, in Preston. She married Fred Bachelder in 1931 in Rock Island. He died in 1971. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Hazel Driscoll, Preston.
