George Basarich 02/20/2000 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for George Basarich, Clinton, will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation is one hour before services at Delaney-Vullich Funeral Home, Clinton. Mr. Basarich died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, at Veterans Administration Hospital, Des Moines. He was a finished carpenter in southern California, retiring in 1979. He was born April 25, 1913, in Clinton. He served in the Air Force in the Philippines before World War II. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a pilot during World War II. Survivors include a brother, Eli, Clinton.
