Richard Trude Sr. 12/29/1999 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Richard C. "Butch" Trude Sr., of Clinton, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Church of the Open Door, Clinton. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today at Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, and one hour before the service Thursday at the church. Mr. Trude died Monday, Dec. 27, 1999, at Mercy Medical Center-North Campus, Clinton. He was employed as a route driver at Thrall Distributing, East Moline. He was born June 14, 1943, in Savanna. He married Carolyn Wentworth in 1970 in Thomson, Ill. He served in the Navy at Great Lakes, Ill. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jeanette Abbott, DeWitt; sons, Richard Trude Jr., Camanche, and Rob Taylor, Gene Taylor, Arnold Trude and Matthew Richmond, all of Clinton; 18 grandchildren; sisters, Violet Dalton, Diane Hull, Loretta Olsen and Cathy Hughes, all of Clinton, and Cindy Atwater, Janesville, Wis.; and brothers, Robert Trude and Kenneth Horton, both of Clinton, and Ronald Horton, Aurora, Colo.
