Mildred Shirk 11/20/1999 MAQUOKETA, Iowa -- Services for Mildred C. Eastman Shirk, of Maquoketa, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Union Cemetery, rural Maquoketa. No visitation will be held. Mrs. Shirk died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1999, at Harmony House, Clinton. Carson & Son Funeral and Cremation Services, Maquoketa, is in charge of arrangements. She had worked all of her life at various local businesses. Mildred Current was born May 13, 1913, in Maquoketa. She married Ernest Eastman. He preceded her in death. She then married Ivan Shirk. He preceded her in death. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. Survivors include a son, John Eastman, Maquoketa; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Martha Bradley, Maquoketa; and a brother, Fortis Current, Coal Valley, Ill.
