Clara Williams 10/28/1999 CLINTON, Iowa -- Clara Williams, of 638 S. Bluff Blvd., Clinton, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999, at Mercy Medical Center, North Campus, Clinton. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Clinton. Burial is in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday at Schmitz Funeral Home, Clinton, with a 5 p.m. vigil. She was a homemaker. Clara Sorensen was born Oct. 25, 1900, in Brainard, Minn. She married George Williams in 1921 in Clinton. He preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mercy Medical Foundation, Clinton, or the American Kidney Association. Survivors include daughters, Jacqueline Bostock, Clinton, and Marietta Daehler, Indianapolis; a son, George, Rock Island; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and five step-great-great-grandchildren.
