Bernard Vogel 10/22/1999 CAMANCHE, Iowa -- Services for Bernard H. Vogel, of 504 2nd St., will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Camanche Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Camanche. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Vogel died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999, at Mercy Medical Center-North Campus, Clinton. He had worked for Alcoa for 32 years as a machinist/fireman, retiring in 1983. He was born May 27, 1921, in Clinton. He married Mildred Mensinger in 1941 in Camanche. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Camanche. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Irene Lansing, Maquoketa; sons, David, Bernie and James, all of Camanche; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
