Janet Ruggeberg 10/15/1999 DELMAR, Iowa -- Services for Janet J. Ruggeberg, of rural Delmar, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt. Burial will be in Oakview Cemetery, Welton. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. Mrs. Ruggeberg died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1999, at her home. She was employed a cook at Welton School, worked a catering business, refinished furniture and did painting and wallpapering. Janet Schmidt was born July 13, 1938, in Clinton. She married Everett Ruggeberg in 1954 in DeWitt. They farmed north of Welton. Memorials may be to the church or Gilda's Club, Davenport. Survivors include her husband; daughters, Sally Ruggeberg, LeClaire, and Susan Ruggeberg, Davenport; sons, Bill, Colona, Ill., and Jim, DeWitt; seven grandchildren; her mother, Helen Schmidt, Eldridge; a sister, Joan Vanover, Davenport; and a brother, Aaron Schmidt, Eldridge.
