Minnie Roseland 07/15/1999 DeWITT, Iowa -- Services for Minnie R. Roseland, of DeWitt, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Mound. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. Mrs. Roseland died Tuesday, July 13, 1999, at Westwing Place, DeWitt. She had taught school 33 years in the rural Bliedorn school, was a primary teacher at Lowden Independent School and retired from DeWitt Community Schools. Minnie Geffers was born July 3, 1911, in Grand Mound. She married Raynard Roseland in 1939 in Grand Mound. He died in 1978. Survivors include a daughter, Gloria Barnes, Mountain View, Calif.; a son, Richard J., Ames; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Edna Geffers, DeWitt.
