ELIZABETH, Ill. — Ronald L. “Carp” Allen Sr., 73, of Elizabeth, died Saturday at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Law-Jones Funeral Home, Elizabeth. Burial will follow in the Elizabeth Cemetery with military rites accorded by Hanover V.F.W Post 5300. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Death date: Dec. 6, 2008
