CLINTON — Joan M. Luckritz, age 77, of Clinton, died Tuesday Nov. 4, 2008, at Mercy North Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at St. John Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. at the Pape Funeral Home and Friday 9:00 a.m. until the service hour at the church. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Scott, Brent, Todd Zaehringer, Douglas and Steve Kinsey, Rob Shumake, Logan Zaehringer and Brian Thomas. Joan was born on March 31, 1931, in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Norman and Elsie (Passick) St. Clair. She attended Clinton High School. She married Hobart “Hub” Luckritz on Dec. 20, 1947, in Clinton; he died on Feb. 26, 2008. Joan was a homemaker and a member of St. John Lutheran Church where she was active with the Ladies Aid. She enjoyed bowling and bird watching. She was active with the Clinton PTA and a Girl Scout leader. Joan is survived by her four daughters, Marcia (Wayne) Zaehringer of Clinton, Brenda Luckritz of Alexandria, VA, Teresa (Steven) Kinsey of Clinton, and Barbara (John) Mayer of Clinton; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty (Robert) Pearson of Belleville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, two brothers, and a sister. Death date: Nov. 4, 2008
