BANNING, Calif. — Edward M. Frett, 81, of Banning, originally from Clinton, died Nov. 3 at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital in Banning.A memorial Mass will be held today at noon at blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, Beaumont, Calif. Cremation rites were accorded; inurnment will be in Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif.Edward M. Frett was born in Clinton. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean war. He married Lois Law; she survives him.Death date: November 3, 2008
