The Clinton Herald Monday February 2, 1959 p. 9 Albert J. Ladehoff, 66, Chicago, former Clinton resident and uncle of Carroll F. Johnson, Clinton attorney, died at Chicago early today. The body is being retuned to the Snell-Smith funeral home where funeral arrangements will be announced later. Albert J. Ladehoff was associated with the Chicago board of education and has lived in Chicago for the last 45 years.

The Clinton Herald Tuesday February 3, 1959 p. 8 Funeral services for Albert J. Ladehoff, former Clinton resident who died Monday at Chicago will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Snell-Smith funeral home. Rev. M.E. Leaher, pastor of st. Paul's Lutheran church, will officiate. Burial will be at Clinton Memorial Park cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 7 p.m. Wednseday. Albert Ladehoff was born June 13, 1892, in Clinton, the son of John and Mary Brantman Ladehoff. He was married Sept. 16, 1914, to Lillian Johnson of Clinton. He was a member of the U.C.T. in Clinton. Surviving are his wife; a brother, Harry Ladehoff, Chicago; a sister, Mrs. Florence Cook, Davenport, and a nephew, Carroll F. Johnson of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The Clinton Herald Thursday February 5, 1959 p. 8 Funeral services for Albert J. Ladehoff, who died Saturday in Chicago, were held at 1:30 p.m. today in the Snell-Smith funeral home, with the Rev. M.E. Leaher, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran church, officiating. Burial was in Clinton Memorial Park. Pallbearers included Carroll F. Johnson, Herbert C. Johnson, Gus Ladehoff, Eugene Ladehoff and William Curran. Attending from out of town were Mr. Ladehoff's brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ladehoff and son, Barry of Chicago; Mrs. Florence Ladehoff Cook, and Mrs. Henry Ladehoff, both of Davenport; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Johnson of Morristown, S.D.; Mrs. Dorothy Johnson Mull, of Boston, Mass., and five former fellow employees, Thomas Higgins, James McBride, David Langland, Harold Williams and Frederick Woodridge.
